This is a rhetorical question (i.e. it needs no response) as I'm sure you can guess the answer! Where is the killer application associated with this OS? The application that makes Vista indispensable? Don't be sucked in by Microsoft latest attempt at peddling its half-assed software to you, you know it sucks!

I feel that a lot of people have, and will have a very different view of the new all singing and dancing Vista, just as soon as they try to add anything like a printer, phone etc
As a lot of company's haven't got the new drivers required for them yet.
I had this when they turned up with Windows XP X64 then wondered why it took me so long to print off the things they wanted, lol
They said they will check with me b4 dong it again.....
Old fashioned but I liked windows 3.1 lol I could understand that. And had no probs with Corel draw!

Either you are 'preaching to the converted' or appealing to those unequipped or unable to comprehend what an Operating System is, no matter what it's for ..

Fact is, Vista is the new fashion 'must have' for the 'street cred' generation - just watch the 'is Vista compatible with my XX XX game/hardware/PC' questions being posted here already :-)

NB. Nothing wrong with Microsoft business model - I've been around long enough to remember the days when you didn't 'own' the Operating System at all - instead you paid at least £100,000 per year to IBM (or about the same to Novell) every year to renew your annual Support, System & User licences for a medium to large Company
