she was little at the time...like 3 years old...we actually did pay it forward...

someone did an act of kindness for the person who was seeking God when they opened the bible; goes to show you how one person can touch the life of another and that is how God works through the people who have found him and allow him to live there; your daughter received a gift of love ; the person who left it got rewarded by one , tithing, 2. giving a gift to someone in the name of God.

Ain't God Good?? It certainly appears that The Lord wanted to bless your daughter, and the giver as well. So He asked one of His listening servants to give it away, and The Holy Spirit would do the rest! Perhaps, The Lord said , give, and it will be given back to you (in many ways), pressed down, shaken together and pouring over The Lord will return the favor! And at the same time I,(The Lord), will chose the person who is to receive it, and they too will be blessed!...And out of gratitude, she (your daughter), will find that she too desires to bless someone, as well! Praying 1st, that The Lord Jesus, have the person who needs to be touched today or tomorrow, by The tender mercies of The Lord, find it as well, and know that ,it is The Lord who has done this! Thus, acting on Gods wonderful Word of Truth, experience that those who seek Him , find Him, every time. And discover, that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! And so, the cycle begins fresh and anew. His Word proving it's self , accurate, dependable, reliable, never failing, faltering, nor growing obsolete!...Cast your bread upon the water, and after many days, it will surly return!!!!

somebody wanted to teach her a lesson.. or anyone a lesson.. if you look for answers in a bible you wont always find just the same words.. it like a metaphore.. there is a story that a guy was on his 18th birthday and he asks his dad a car. and the dad gives him a bible as a gift. So he gets mad an returns it to his father.. When his dad dies he goes to his house and opens the bible.. and there is a paper with a quote of the bible and the car keys in it.. :) so sad

If you feel she should have left that $10 and give it to the housekeeper that alright . But in a way $10 is $10 and she can save it for a rainy day

Sorry sweety. Your daughter left a hotel room with 10$ she didn't have going in and told you she "found it in the bible," because the truth is both nasty and below the going market value.
