Hmmm, difficult to narrow down to just one answer. I'd say:
Dogs: some people do their thing with anyone (yuck!)
Cats: some women are so cunning
Cows: most women are very maternal and loving toward their babies
Lions: some men are very protective of their families
Rats: some people are opportunists
Worms: some people have no backbone
Wolves: all societies have a hierarchy
Dolphins: children, and some adults, are very playful
Monkeys: all people need social, loving, and affectionate families
You see? It's hard to pin down to just one species.

There could be no adequate comparison between man and animal.
Man is naturally far more sublime than any animal, because man is exclucively endowed with the rational sense to think and to act creatively.
But man may fall far lower than the animal when he uses this rational sense for the evil purpose or only for the satisfaction of the flesh. In the physical field, the animal is instictively more capable than man; man can never make pure and nutritious honey like bees...

it is quite spiritual heh.
Humans could NOT be compared to ants in my opinion. ants are soooooo strong, committed, and yeah more united. ants are wonderful creatures.
Humans could not be compared to animals because, animals are much nicer than humans.

Ants, yes,... from up high. The rest of the time we act worse than animals. I'd sooner keep company with our four-legged friends.

bald eagle in USA is a symbol of America. And a figurine of it is just fine. It is the venerating of them that makes it wrong. Would be the same if it was a tree, money, your own desires put in front of spiritual things or thinking when you pray to them you can reach god thru them. That is what makes the difference.

Why compare humans to animals... we are one of the creations. Individual and distinct (and always have been). We are ourselves and nothing else.
