How do you know if you have psychic abilities?

Question

I sometimes feel the presence of people who have passed on and dream about them talking to me. My mom & aunt also have dreams like this...which I didn't know until very recently. Also my mom has premonitions. Sometimes I think we are all just out of our gourds and other times I think it is too much of a coincidence not to be real. Opinions?

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

what you are speaking about is mediumistic ability not psychic ( although a medium would be psychic also )
but the only way to know if what you see is spirit or simply just a dream or imagination is to gain evidence
by which i mean ... can you describe people that you otherwise wouldnt know and get this validated etc

In General, psychic abilities runs in the family so if your mother is psychic, then there is a good chance you will be also. You have to trust yourself, can't no one tell you that you have the ability or not. There is no scientific test to confirm or disprove the ability.

Your dreams are what we call dream scaping. It is the act of dreaming to get clues to answers you seek. Her premonitions are just her looking through her third eye to glimspe the future.
