no, becuase strep throat is when a person experiences white spots on the back of there throat, fever, and generalized flu like feeling. Tonsils are on the sides of your throat and are a different body part with different illinesses.

Yes...strep throat is NOT an infection of the tonsils, its an infection of the throat. You should be on anti-biotics if you have it.
