Awwwww! I had a male black pug and we named him Shaft. He ended up being called Boogie though, because he was very hyper.

Depends. Look at him, his apperance, and personality. You can name him depending on how he acts or something cute he did. You can name him for what he looks like. Sometimes people name black and white pets Oreo or Cow. There is also the other option where you can just take any random name you heard or like. Your choice.

My first dog was a Lab/Newfie cross so definitely black. I finally came up with a name that I had never heard:

Pepper, midnight, blacky/black, luck (well I new a black lab with this name), Obsidian (a black stone).

I like to give my pets people names.......I have a Jack Russel named Sherman, a border collie named ellis and a horse named Sydney.....Give your self a couple of days and see who he turns out to be.....
