I have a 2006 Pathfinder S and the third row seat is one main reason we ended up with this SUV. Though we leave it down the majority of the time it is extremely useful to have when you need it. I'm 5'8" and was able to sit back there for an hour trip. It was really cramped BUT I was able to sit there. If you plan on using the third row seat on a more everyday usage you may need something bigger as when the seat is up the storage space is pretty limited.

Yes the standard Nissan Pathfinder can be equipt with a 3rd row seat, but it's really a waste. The third row seat is really only good for very small children.

The Nissan Pathfinder Armada is more suited for a 3rd row seat.
