Vx <-- but making the x really little... or when you want to write 10^2 .. Without the ^ and make the 2 small?

Type Vx and highlight the x. On the Tool bar, click on Format and then click on Font. The Font Window will pop up. Under the Edit heading, you will see a bunch of boxes. Click the subscript (if you want the x to be low) or superscript (if you want it high). Then click OK. It's that simple!

Go to Format, in symbols click on the 2 and insert.

You want to change the formatting to be subscript or just change the font size for that character.

go format, font and check 'superscript'. then everything you write will be really small like exponents. you have to uncheck the 'superscript' box when you actually want to write normal again. your welome.
