A lot of atheists have been posting that all the wars in the world are the fault of theists and that we should ban religion, blah blah blah....
What ever happened to freedom of religion? I will admit that the Middle- Eastern countries have been feuding for thousands of years, over different beliefs. But how can this be our fault?
Everything has to be blamed on somebody, and anymore everyone likes to take it out on us. It's not our fault, it's humanity's. All of ours!!!! Don't you see? And for all of you Religion Haters, let me remind you that the amount of theists in this world out numbers atheists, so u hate over half the world. Which would mean that most likely you are related to atleast one religious person, or friend that u hate. Does this make sence?
I'm not telling you 'who's right, who's wrong, who's smart, who's dumb', I'm looking for peAce, and yet, just like in my last post, u take all of your problems out on religious folks.
Y is this?

Bad Liberal,
I think u might have been trying to be nice, but u offend me. Like I said, and have said many, many times in my last question (but nobody reads it anyhow)
look up, and u'll see the, quote:
"I'm not telling you 'who's right, who's wrong, who's smart, who's dumb', I'm looking for peAce"
And u'll also see this:
"Everything has to be blamed on somebody, and anymore everyone likes to take it out on us. It's not our fault, it's humanity's. All of ours!!!! Don't you see?" And then I said that over half the world includes theists, so what ru saying, again??
Humans tend to blame instead of fixing.

EDIT: Bad LIberaL,
i wasnt picking a fight. And i will quote you again. "I'm not telling you 'who's right, who's wrong, who's smart, who's dumb', I'm looking for peAce" but only bc people only try to say what u say instead of getting at my original point. And, my original point was 'Atheists, why be haters?' And, sadly, someone who likes offending people would be put in that category. and, yes im looking for peAce, but tend to get angry when i get neglectful answers like this.

Sadly, religion has caused hate, murders and many wars
Religion is man's way of controlling people and and trying to please God with rituals and rules.
Jesus is not a religion. Jesus is God's way of reaching down to man with love. Christianity is not a religion, it is the following of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

See what this says'
(Revelation 20:10) And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Who is the ' false prophet'
Prophets/prophecies are directly related to religion.
So this implies false religion.
And it is being punished, regardless of how we interpret the lake of fire.
So why should religion be punished?
Because it HAS been the cause of most of our troubles.
It is not innocent,,, regardless of what it claims.
Almighty God does have a proper religion on earth. How would you identify it.
By the fact that it has LOVE amongst itself and by its obedience to the Bible.
What religions obey Matthew 28; 19,20?
What religion operates in the whole world?
What religion is it that has women as a large army [ (Psalm 68:11) Jehovah himself gives the saying; The women telling the good news are a large army.
What religion has totaL UNITY worldwide? With no sub-divisions.
The religion that fits all these is the true religion.

There is no escaping the fact that religion has caused more hatred, murder, and violence in the history of mankind than any other cause.
As far as hate goes, atheists don't hate theists. We know that you have been brainwashed into believing a fairy-tale.
And you fear the alternative so much, that you ignore, or dismiss the reality of the truth.
Update:
Didn't realize there was anything offense to my answer.
I didn't even get into the fact that religion aids, abets, and is complicit in the molestation of thousands of young boys.
But, then again, is that not nice to say, even though it's true?
You asked the question. And by your reactions, I see that my answer was damn accurate.
There is no god. Religion is a fantasy, filled with contradictions, lies, and impossibilities.
It saddens atheists to see, seemingly, intelligent human beings, parrot sayings that are simply childish. And try to invent arguments that are just silly.

A valid question. But you are asking it of the wrong people. It should be posed to all Theists and reworded as
If you answer this question truly and honestly, between only you and God, then I think you will get the answer to your original question.

Time to switch to decaff.
You can have freedom of religion. Just remember that doesn't include freedom to expect everyone else to believe the same as you or you'll kill their children and burn down their villages. And it's not just Christians. It's theists. Just stop that and we can get on fine.
EDIT
I wasn't trying to be nice at all and I'm not bothered if I offended you. You can repeat your quote all you like, but you came on here and picked a fight, no-one started on you first. For one that doesn't sound like someone who wants peace. Secondly, you misquote people, they'll bombard you with what you need to know about them. Thirdly, religion needs to answer a few questions to itself about the way it provokes people trying to do good things into doing terrible things. Your attempts at being defensive aren't going to win you any respect from atheists.

The Atheists spend a lot of time saying "you're wrong"- remember the part about logs, and eyes and you can't see unless you pull the log out of your own eyes?
Or the part where Jesus said about throwing pearls before swine? Jesus called them "swine",,,and how they would turn and trample you?
To quote a popular one line joke by Ron White- "You can't fix stupid",,,so do what you can, pray for them

Your right hate and suffering are not caused by religions right or wrong in their beliefs. The evil in this world is caused by greed and desire for worldly power and anyone can fall victim to those traps.

God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?
