Online poker is legal in California however it’s not regulated by the state, although there are several bill around at the moment that are looking to do this. Online poker players in California play regularly online and there are plenty of good online poker rooms that accept them. no,they are asking for real $$ from me to play,, but I don't give my cc for that.. besides I never trust the computer dealings,lol..
I rather play with play money,, if you rather play with real $$,, I would go play at one of those local poker hall/casinos and/or indian casinos.. That way I can see who my real opponents/poker players....

I think it was recently made illegal across the u.s. to deposit money to a gambling website with credit cards. Meaning the gambling itself wouldn't be illegal. I believe certain sites made loopholes, i.e. Golden Palace has a card you buy from them to basically put 'credits' to your account.
