The only thing that helps is time.
Although it's hard to do, try to go out with friends.
Don't sit around and mope for a long period of time. Get involved in a hobby or exercise to take your mind off it.

KEEP YOURSELF BUSY! getting over an ex whom you were emotionally attached to is always hard, but you can't just dwell on the past, you have to try to move on and do things that make you happy and keep you away from the negative.

it depends on how long ago you and her broke up, if thats what happened. i got over my ex that i loved by talking to my friends about it. going out and having fun. i went out with groups of people. i ended up meating another guy and now im dating him and im totally in love again. way more then i was before. just take your time. just be with friends. it will make it alot easier.

start drinking...enjoy your freedom.... meet other chicks...have once night stands.....i myself am a girl...but if i would to get over a boy that i love...this is what i would be doing.
