You start by purchasing either a Chiltons or a Haynes repair manual with the wiring schematic inside, find the wiring colors and the locations for the ignition,the starter circuit and a 12volt hot wire. Jumper the hot wire to the ignition wire and touch the starter wire ti the hot wire untill it starts.

Just get a new ign switch and have a GM service dept install it
