i met this guy on the balcony of our dorm. we started haning out for a while. One day I was playing his xbox and i noticed him staring at me. i never said anything about it. Whenever I call him to hang out or so, he is always busy doing something...he only calls me when he wants something. Everyone once in a while he calls me over to watch a movie with him...on the days he doesn't fall asleep on me, he wants to cuddle with me-- and he even told me my hair always smell good. i told him that i like him and he got all quiet on me. he said he was shocked and needed to think about it. what move do i make now? does he like me or am i reading to much into our relationship?

Come one Honey...you know the answer to your own question. We women are equipped with an uncanny ability to know if a guy likes us. We know as early as pre-teens. It's that feeling we get. It's a sense of knowing that really doesn't require asking our friends or his friends if it's true.
The one thing that we woman don't seem to get is when he ISN'T into us. We'll stay in relationships way too long, when the true emotionality has been dead for weeks..maybe months.
He may be one of those guys that like to do the pursuing. Silly, I know...if true, the guy has real control issues. No matter how this ends up, don't get shell shocked. You had every right to tell him how you felt. Go ahead and tell im you were just acting on his lead. Then ask why he was responding to you in the way he was if he wasn't feeling something. As a woman, NEVER EVER be afraid to ask for what you want.

Jeez. Right now the ball is in his court so dont make another move. You have expressed that you like him so stop there, do not pressure him. Also based on what you wrote about him, either he is really shy and doesnt know the first thing about women or he isn't as interested as you may deserve in a man. I suggest you figure out whether he shows the signs or being truly compatible with you and if he really is willing to put his time into making you happy. So just sit back and watch him, not like a psycho but just observe. Also if seems as though he is using you because you said that he contacts you when he wants something. Try bringing another man around him and see if he acts protective of you or shows signs of jealously. I dont agree with playing games but sometimes you gotta do it if the guys isnt being straight with you. Also another thing, he said that he "has to think about it"??...If he is interested then there shouldnt really be anything to think about. You need to see what your worth is. The rest is up to you.

To me it seems like he's playing w/ your emotions, like he's trying to get everything he can out of it then he's gunna leave you. Sorry, that's just what it seems like to me, but what the heck would I know about it! I've never had a boyfriend in my entire life! Pray about it & ask God because no matter what you get here on Yahoo! Answers, God's answer will be the best in the long run.

well sometimes we as girls want something that might not feel the same way. Attention is yes very desirable however like a wise woman told me if you have to ask its not worth having.
Be patient because if he truly likes you, theres nothing to think about, he's spent enough time getting to know you already.
Find someone you have no doubt about nor red flags. : )

I would say move on with your life. If he doesn't
want to answer your question than he really is not interested. Maybe if you move on he will get the hint and wake up. Some guys need that.
