I going to England with a student group in a few months and my family thinks that if I walk around London with skateboard shoes, I will be looked down upon by you. People dress in shoes like that there dont they. Shakeboard shoes have flat bottoms. How is wearing them make our country look bad? I didn't realize countries judge each other by shoes.

Great shoes - what could be the problem with them? I don't think anyone in the UK judges people by their clothes (except, perhaps, the sad little fashion wannabees)

Glad you posted a link as I had no idea what you meant by skateboard shoes. No one will bat an eyelid if you wear something like that, quite normal.

You might get some strange looks if you walk around London wearing skateboard shoes and nothing else.

Ha ha, like the question. Im a fashion student in London. We have such a multicultural society you could wear no shoes and no one would notice. If you like skateboarding check out the south bank centre - big ugly building where all the skaters go to hang out.

There is nothing wrong with those shoes...you will be fine. Everyone over here wears what they are comfortable with so you will find that pretty much everything goes...enjoy your time over here....
