Whenever somebody asks me if I have ever had a boyfriend before I tell them "yea in elementary school". Because I had this boy that would come over to my house all of the time and we would play together (we were 8). And all of my friends said their first boyfriend was when they were 8 so can I say that too. I have never really had an actual boyfriend before but I don't want people to make fun of me.

Yes. You can Lie. You may be too mature for your age that is why you may not have no boyfriend at this time. I was so mature I thought all the guys in high school acted well not on my level.
I did not find any one until I was 19 years old ,and he was an older man.
I think guys are 5 years behind a girl when it comes to mature status.
Do not worry about people making fun of you. You will meet someone in college later on or when you get a job and are around other people. Do Not Grow Up TOO Fast !!! You May Have To Start Paying Bills. I Hope You Do Go To College,and I Wish You Well In Your Future

You can all talk about a grade-school friend as a "boyfriend," but everyone knows that doesn't really count.
Don't allow people to make fun of you! The best defense is a good offense When all your girlfriends are pining and moaning about their boyfriends, you can tell them, GEE, it sounds like so much FUN, I think I'll put off having a boyfriend until the guys GROW UP. You know, make a joke out of it ... but it's true, too. Relationships are a pain until maturity sets in. How many of your friends are blissfully happy?

That’s fine. Your right making fun of people is not a good thing, and let you know guys do the same thing, you ever done it with a girl? And most guys will say yes and never been to third base. Sorry to say it a part of life and will never change.
Just take you time and when the right person comes along for you you'll know it.

Don't you think it would be worse if people actually found out you were lying to make yourself seem better? Why not just tell the truth and stand up for who you are? Isn't that easier?
There is nothing wrong with not ever having a boyfriend. Just because your friends have all had boyfriends doesn't mean that you have to be just like them. Be yourself. Don't try to copy what everyone else does. Besides, lying isn't cool.

I guess that's okay. I'm just saddened how we let others lead our lives for us. There is no shame in not having had a boyfriend. Your time will come. And many of those who brag about having had who knows how many are often not as happy and secure as they lead you to think. I've known girls who live this way and yet, on the inside wish they would have been strong enough and not jumped into relationships so quickly. They just don't usually talk about it until they are grown and mature and don't care about the opinions of others anymore.

There's no shame is not having had a boyfriend. You don't need to make up stories to protect yourself from people making fun of you. If they make fun of you - they are not people you want to have in your life - and maybe you could let them know that - or move on and find better quality friends.

Don't worry about what other people think. It sounds like you are waiting for someone special. The ppl who do give you a hard time for it are probably the ones who date because they think its a cool fad. So be yourself and don't rush. Things will come natually, and when you are ready. Don't worry about it sweetie.

Yeah, you can say that, but it's just as okay to say you've never had one. They're more likely to make fun of you for reaching back to elementary school. You could also tell them that it's none of their concern.

well it depems on your age the best thing to say his he moved away with his family and make up a name if this makes you feel better but remeber a good liar ahs to remeber their lies
