I'm pretty good and this girl in my p.e class might be noticing. After all she was looking at my direction and when i look in her direction she looks away. Sometimes she watches me when I'm playing a game of basketball. Any chance she's interested?

WEll, Speaking from a girl's point of view, I don't. Some people do but, i'm a cheerleader and i've dated like... what? 18 jocks in the last 3 years and geez, i finally realized that JOCKS make HORRIBLE boyfriends. they're all over themselves and don't care about anyone else. well, now, (i've actually read this in teen vogue) that girls are all over the senstive guys. So i suggest you be sensitive so that she may notice you better as the person you truly are.

Now my answer is rather hypicritical because I myself have no courage to do what I'm about to tell you what you should do. But bear in mind that it is the most effective way to get an answer: ask her out right.
Or ask if she plays basketball. If the answer is no, insist that she try it, teach her how to shoot the ball. Just remember, stick to shooting hoops, don't make her run, she's not going to want to sweat.
If she does play ask her to go one on one with you. You could work up asking her about her feelings after she's warmed up to you. But no matter what you decide to do, remember this, dating is no different than sports, you've got to pace yourself and go slow.

Well, I definitely do NOT like athletes personally, but it sounds like that girl likes you. I know whenever I see the guy I like looking at me, I quickly look away because I'm shy like that. Try asking her out. =)

Obviously not all girls like athletes. I personally do. I think it shows dedication and that you are willing to work hard. It sounds like she likes you. I would go for it.

I don't like Jocks.
In fact, I don't like sports.. I almost failed gym class. I'm not fat or anything, I like to exercise but for me sports are pointless.
anyway, only you can find out if she likes you. You know her better than any of us.. it's a matter of tastes.
