WW is based on the points program, you get so many points, according to your height, weight, etc. You work off of those points and incorporate your food with them. You get a booklet that has all the food in it, a guide, and a point calculator. You figure out your food points, and then subtract from your daily allowance. The more you exercise, the more points you get. Just like a regular diet, the more you exercise, the more calories you can have. The down side is that if you calculate "bad" food, you are wasting your points, and you will run out at the end of the day, therefore starving until the next day. It is a good program for maybe older people. I see alot of Granny's there, but then also a few younger people too. They have a great support group, monthly magazine, and weekly meetings. Also in your program it gives listings of restaurant foods that you can also eat, with the points calculated in it. Give it a try, go to your first meeting, and if it's not something you want to do, try L.A. Weight Loss. Good Luck.

The diet divides foods up into types and then you keep track of how much of each type you are having over the course of the day. Like some things count as 2 breads plus 1 fruit, and so on. Or they have one that goes by points. Each kind of food is assigned a number of points, and you can't go over that number of points each day. Then you go to meetings and talk about it.
