i'm placing few drops of Lavender Oil on the pillow to help fall asleep (as suggested by friend), i only started it today and not know how it will turn out...i've had trouble sleeping quickly since god knows how long...

my question is, should i use chloroform to fall alseep fast? If i do, how long will I be out for (few drops on tissue and sniff)? Can i get chloroform over the counter?

For your information, I am 23 years old and live in Lodnon and need to wake up at 7 in the morning to go to work.

Chloroform is hard to administer properly and even when done to perfection, is likely to cause a headache.

Natural methods of falling asleep:
Masturbation
Meditation/Yoga
Herbs: http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/conditionsitoq/a/Insomnia.htm
Warm Milk

I wouldn't use the chloroform method. I would use the Lavender oil on the pillow. Also drink a cup of warm Chamomile tea and take a nice warm relaxing bath with candlelight.

PLEASE do not exercise before you go to bed...
---If you exercise intensely shortly before you go to bed, you may feel revved up instead of ready to wind down. Some experts say that working up a sweat too close to bedtime can interfere with your natural sleep cycle and rob you of restorative deep sleep, too.

Instead, try:

---Don't drink any fluids within 2 hours of going to bed. This will reduce the likelihood of needing to get up and go to the bathroom or at least minimize the frequency.

Take a hot bath, shower before bed. When body temperature is raised in the late evening, it will fall at bedtime, facilitating sleep,

Remove the clock from view. It will only add to your worry when constantly staring at it... 2 AM...3 AM... 4:30 AM...

Keep Your Bed For Sleeping. If you are used to watching TV or doing work in bed, you may find it harder to relax and to think of the bed as a place to sleep.

seriously? no. If you really need help sleeping do some research on "sleep hygiene" .... which is lifestyle changes you can make to create an environment more conducive to falling asleep and staying asleep.
