If you've personified God in your mind, what does this entity look like. Also, if you haven't given God human features, then tell me what God is to you. How do you describe God and I'd like your opinions...PLEASE DO NOT quote scripture after scripture and give me an hour long ecumenical schpiel. Just your opinion only.

One more thing: have you ever gotten chills when you've heard or seen something that lets you know you've connected with the "Spirit" on some realm? When this happens, describe what it feels like and is it, in your opinion, a moment of grace? Or just goosebumps? What do you think it represents?

In my opinion, God is everything, but mostly, God is Science, or rather, Science Is and things Are because that is the way God built them. Photosynthesis? Cell division? God's work.
But I'm also using the term "God" very loosely here. To me, god is not a "He", "She" or "It", God is more of a will, and his only physical embodiment is the one people are most likely to accept. The person to the left may see God as a black woman, the person to the left may see God as a white man. He is what people will accept.
Furthermore, God is not perfect per say, as perfection is in the eye of the beholder. One man's perfection is another's flaw.
In short, God is the same thing as a Will, he is what you want him to be, and will exist as long as you can beleive he does. He's kind of like Tinkerbelle in that sense.
That's how I veiw God. It's pretty vague and probably not what you're looking for, but that's what I truely, honestly beleive.
I also see him as a bright yellow/gold light.

I have been a christian now for some 34 years. I have no idea of what G-d looks like- only some vauge idea based on Near death Experiences, and how the bible describes the back of G-d when Moses saw him "In his Glory" (Aparently, Moses was so bright for the rest of his life people had to wrap him in cloth so they wouldn't go blind)

HOWEVER,,,,I have felt G-d. Its,,,hard to describe. I've seen ghosts, and demons and things like that. Big deal- you ask them what they want if they're a ghost, then send them on their way. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command that the demons leave me and my house and family alone.

When in the presense of G-d, I am reminded of a passage that says "Be still, and know that I am G-d".

So when we go to church, the wife and I,,,they're singing, and dancing, and clapping- kinda like in the second "Blues Brothers" Movie? And I'm right in the middle- I think its the middle its not like I've measured it- and I'm quiet, imobile, statue still, and I listen, I feel, I contemplate- all these things, and then some. My head is down, my eyes are closed,,,,and its more than a trance. Its,,,a focus. An intensity. I'm sorry I can't describe it any better.

Good Luck in your search- Larry the Orc

Most people believe in a Supreme Being, even though they may call Him by different names.
We know that God, our Heavenly Father, lives. He knows you and each of us and loves us all as His children.

We are commanded to love God (Matthew 22:36–38). Jesus Christ taught that we must know the only true God to have eternal life (John 17:3). As His children, we must know who He is and what He is like.

God is perfect. He is all-wise and all-powerful—the ruler of the universe.
He is also merciful, kind, loving, and just—your Heavenly Father. We are created in His own image (Genesis 1:27).

Because you are His child, He knows and loves you as an individual. He has a plan to help His children find joy in this life and return to live with Him when this life is over.

In the Old Testament God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness" (Genesis 1:26). Jacob declared that he had seen God "face to face" (Genesis 32:30). Moses also spoke with God "face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend" (Exodus 33:11).
In the New Testament, when the Resurrected Christ appeared to His Apostles, He told them, "handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have" (Luke 24:39). Later Stephen testified that he saw Jesus "standing on the right hand of God" (Acts 7:56).

As you come to know and love God, you will find greater peace and joy, both in this life and in the life to come.

As for spirit I belive I have walked through one and it felt weird like little tingles all over my body.

Whether or not God exists continues to be a question that I cannot answer. In the meantime, I believe in myself. As long as I live an honest life and help others when and where I can I feel good about who I am.

God, it seems, manifests in material form as well as non-corporial form (spirit).

The Bible says God created man in his own image and that God walked with Adam in the Garden. It did not say God floated or flew like an Angel.

I know it sounds New Age, but I think in a sense we are all Gods. I think everyday I wake up I have an opportunity to create a new experience for myself, a new chance to make my day what I want it to be. I create through my art so I guess I would say I am God. At least I know I'm real.
