Uncles a genius?

My uncle is a genius. He can find the answer to any riddle really easily. Does anybody have some very tricky riddles that take foever to find out. They haven to have resonable answers. Please help, I want to stump him and have him go "ooooooo" when he finds out the answer.

Try this:

There are 3 light switches outside a door to a room. One of the switches turns on the light inside the room the other switch do nothing. You can do anything you want to the 3 switches for 5 minutes and then you enter the room. Once inside the room you must be able to tell what switch turns on the light. You can not see inside the room in any way, nor can you see anything under or around the door. How do you determine which switch turns on the light.

Answer - turn one of the switches on for 5 minutes then turn it off and turn on another switch. Now go into the room. If the light is on then of course the switch you just turned on is the one. If the light is off and hot then it is the first switch you turned on and if the light if off and cold then it is the switch you did not turn on.
