Yawning is the body's way of getting more oxygen. It doesn't necessarily mean she's tired.

Some people yawn when they're tired, but yawning is basically just taking in a big breath. Don't worry about it too much! If you have more questions, ask your doctor or pediatrician. Good luck!

my daughter is 6 weeks and yawns all the time too. and usually that does mean she's sleepy. babies need lots of rest. so if she's yawning and acts tired. she probably needs more sleep.

Yawning really doesn't have much to do with sleepiness. . .
It just means that your brain needs oxygen

no its just a sign that everybody is used to even when they are getting enough sleep, they are just not getting enough oxygen to their brain so dont assume that they are tired when they yawn, its just them getting some air.

It can, but if you feel taht they are supposed to be getting enough sleep, its most likely that their bodies are trying to get more oxygen.
It doesnt mean that they are having breathing troubles, they just need alittle boost!
Nothin to worry about!
