You do not get rid of flat stomachs through doing crunches repetitively. Crunches don't burn the tummy fat, cardio does. If you "occasionally jogged" you wouldn't really get anywhere. You also need to eat healthy. And crunches don't get all of your abs. you want to hit the 5 areas:

upper abs
lower abs
obliques
transverse abdominis
(and theirs another one I can't remember at the moment)

You also need to do some weight workouts to get some muscle. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn. And then their is that thing about being in a deficit of calories. being in a deficit of calories (and by this I DO NOT want you to take that as "starving yourself") to burn of that fat.

In my sources are some links that can help

If you are at ideal body weight, and do the proper combination to target ALL the ab muscles, then pretty quickly.
If you are lucky enough to be genetically blessed with long type of muscles, in as little as 3 weeks.
That was my experience at your age, eventually worked up to150 sit ups each morning and each evening.

That would depend, of course, on how much you have to lose. At the rate you propose, an average height woman might lose between 5 to 10 pounds per month.

Don't do crunches.Do push-ups instead.Stand up straight then go side to side and touch you're toes. But you can do crunches every 2 days. It'll take you about 1 month.

I would think you would see results happening within 4 to 6 weeks if you are consistent.

Depends on what kind of shape you're in now and what your goal is, everyone is different. Just stick with it.
