I was taking a very heavy science course load, raising a baby, and working. Now looking back on it I am not so sure I would do it again. People will tell you ways to ease some of the stress, like finding babysitters and doing yoga, etc., but in my opinion too much is too much.

Maybe you can take fewer courses part-time or even sit down and re-evaluate exactly what you are going to get out of this and what is the cost to your children. If I had taken my own advice, I would have dropped my science course and taken a much lighter business course at a night school. Now I have missed so many years with my little ones that I will never get back and they are growing up so fast that I regret it.

It is enormous stress to have a job, kids, and try and go to school, however, thousands of Americans do it every year because getting a better education will eventually lead to better wages. People endure the short term suffering for the long term gains.
