If he drinks beer and gets drunk he is fine, but if he drinks Vodka he turns nasty (not violent) but name calling, and the worst person to be around, evil, argumentative, runs off and leaves me to walk home in dark, very strange weird behavior like almost posessed. Totally out of character. I think you get the message. What and why is this person behaving like this with vodka and not beer?

Well it depends on how much he is drinking. Vodka has a very high alcohol content, so you will get drunk faster. Beer has a lower alcohol content so obviously you will get drunk slower. Also you do not get as full drinking Vodka, so its easier to drink it faster and get drunk even faster. So my answer is yes, it is normal for any man or women to get evil when drinking Vodka.

It's very normal of it happening,As was said beer fills you up faster but vodka hits the brain faster. Once it hits the brain a person looses all control and don't even know what's around them.I've learned a long while ago just to leave that person alone until they sober up.Saves many a fights and blows if they are violent. And if your scared of them getting hurt the drunk tank is a perfect place for them.man or woman.

Yes, I get extremely violent when drinking tequila, the impurities in the alcohol are what is causing him to act strange, tell your friend it's time he stop drinking vodka because he turns creepy and weird. Suggest he try some other liquor like rum or whiskey. Order him a margarita or a mojito

He's probably already in a bad mood which is why he's opting for vodka over beer. It is a stronger drink and it's harsher on the way down which feels better when you are upset. When you are drunk it just takes away all your inhibitions, so he is just acting on what is already inside of him.

That's pretty common, it probably has more to do with hard liquor vs. beer and wine than specifically vodka. Although I've know some folks that go off kilter from drinking certain spirits, but they are more often whisky or tequila.

I don't know. But hubby Fred is the same way. With beer he's fine but with vodka he turns mean. He blames it on his diabetes.

I'm not sure if it's normal or not but my ex use to get ugly when he drank scotch. We would have a blast as long as he stuck to beer but if he drank scotch, he didn't give a s**t about anybody. He also made me walk home....almost 10 miles...in the winter. Wonderful sole he was.......glad we're not together anymore. Good luck to you.

vodka in a beer stein is totally evil.. one of our friends spilled some on my floor and took the wax off of it!! If it can do that to my waxy floor you might have him consider what it is doing to his stomach lining and have him swear off the stuff!
