My son uses a combination with Ativan working the best. Other anti nausea meds he uses are zophran, kytril, and benedryl as needed.

It might help to know the age of the individual!!!! Foods that my son eats during chemo . . rolls with butter, milkshakes, pizza, and cheeseburgers . . well . . anything goes as long as there are calories in it. He eats whatever he wants. I'm not exactly sure if other people should follow my sons diet though!!! But its worked for him . . :-D

All natural Stomach Soothing Complex uses a blend of herbs that calms upset stomachs, a digestive aid, and eases nausea. The key ingredients are peppermint, ginger, anise and fennel.

Others undergoing chemo have found that Meal Shakes are very palatable. They provide 45% or more of the daily values for 19 essential vitamins and minerals and are a rich source of calcium. The Meal Shakes were actually developed for growing kids and teens but has since has been found to be a food that's very tolerable for those going through chemo.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions.

I'm a nurse. Compazine, promethazine, these are the best. I would ask the pharmacist at your local drug store for somethingOTC like these meds.
