John 14:6 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." That is how we know that we are the "one true religion". Now, if that statement is true or not, well, all ya gotta do is look at the evidence.

First off, many of us weren't raised to be Christians... we sought Truth and found it through much seeking and deliberating in the Christian faith. Christianity is not about a building, or about charity, or other people... it is about a person's personal relationship with God. Of course that relationship begins to encompass God's people which leads to charity, compassion, and sacrifice... but it's not about what you do. At the core Christianity is about accepting that life is not about what you've done wrong, not some crucifix with notches in it for each sin (which all religions except Christianity embrace)... Christianity is realizing that you are wired wrong, you're processor is screwed up, and then taking the steps to get that wiring right. It's a heart thing... while EVERY other religion, even secularism, is about rules and regulations. Christianity is also the only religion that is centered around grace. The concept that there is absolutely nothing we can do about our present condition of abject misery, we have no right to be shown any mercy... but that mercy is shown to us none the less. In a nut shell, Christianity is unlike all the others... and those who are devoted to the path of grace find that they are fulfilled while all others are left empty... that is why it is the one True religion.

because of fact Christianity consistently questions itself. have you ever heard of the Enlightenment and of subjecting the Bible to historic-serious diagnosis? the only faith that has made an substantial attempt to stick to Christianity's occasion of understanding itself traditionally is Judaism. Islam hasn't. Of the three Abrahamic religions, in basic terms Islam is afraid to question itself.

Most people instinctivly need to be lead. Christians are told what to believe and what to do, so this is a natural religion to follow for the weak. I am sure we ALL have it wrong, humans are not advanced enough to understand the intricacies of the universe yet.

We have all the likelyhood of having it wrong as we do of having it right.
The fact is, they don't know. The whole religion is based on faith, which is nothing more than blind belief and hope. Most religions are like that.
But hell, if we're all wrong, then no one can really claim they're holier than you or me, can they?

I believe in what I want to believe in. If I was told something is real but I thought it wasn't then I would have dropped it.

I believe in Jesus because I want to not because I was told to.

Blind faith, pretty much, normally stemming from being told that Christianity is the truth from a parent/high-ranking adult earlier in life.

They don't know. If they were raised in the Middle East they would most likely be muslim. They are just believing what they have been brought up to believe.
