I'm doing a paper for class and just wanted to get some feed back on people who have used the internet for dating.

Yeah, I've gone out with a number of guys over the past 10 yrs that I've met online through either dating sites or other social/chat sites online.
No really negative experiences re: people I've met. Nobody had misrepresented themselves or their appearance (as you hear in some stories). Some dates were fun and others we just didn't click...sometimes I dated the guy for a while, but most were just first or possibly first and second dates and then we went our separate ways.
I find the internet a useful tool in meeting people, and just one of many ways/places people can get to know others for friendship, dating, networking, tips/guidance, etc.

Yes, though wasn't the best experience in a lot of ways but did meet someone I am happy with (lol after like four disasters beforehand which almost made me give up). Been with my current boyfriend for about eight months or so now, going well

Yes I have used online dating services. I have met my bestfriend on one. I met one guy on one of them that was a total jerk, met another that is ok. I have found someone very special now & we will be getting married.

yes we have and the thing is we started talking in august 2006 met in october and got married the very day we met face to face

i have used onlinedating...i personally think its ok... but it takes a long time tofind the right person and if they dont like u ...u have to start over.like i said it takes a long time and alot of the services you have to pay for wich is not worthit. so if u got time try it...if not dont evn bother!
