Okay, you're out with your "group" of friends. All of a sudden, everyone pairs up. You know, all of the daters in the group are all over each other. It gets annoying for those who aren't dating anyone because who are they supposed to be all over? Hello-you're single. That's how I feel. Anyone know what I mean? If so, how do you deal?

I know how you feel. All of my social circle are in a relationship except for me; often when we're on our way back from a night-out at some un-godly hour in the morning; and we're all recked on the train -- I kind of look-up and they're all in each others arms asleep or hugging etc and I'm just sitting there! lol Here's to hoping I don't have to be single much longer because I'm getting sick of it and it's lonely as hell!!!!

that happens all the time, I am kind of the 5th wheel when my "group". The only thing I do is just make the best of it. When I am with a group and they pair up, I just try to go with one of the people that dont have anyone, and just try to make things better than they are

Maybe, when you're setting up this meeting up of a group of friends, you could say " And, please, no pairing up while we're together. If you just gotta be all over your love, then maybe you could excuse yourselves & go do it somewhere else. It's not fun just watching." Or talk individually to the ones who keep doing it & ask them very nicely not to do it.

Yeah, that's happened to me and it's pretty unpleasant. I deal with it by carrying a book to read and a notebook to write in EVERYWHERE. When the lovebirds start billing and cooing, I pull out my books and start reading. It's somewhat peculiar, but it smoothes out a lot of stuff.
