What is something good to eat after drinking the night before?

More important than food is water. I try to drink at least one glass of water for every beer/drink I have before I go to bed if possible. If you are really slammed, eating bread products before you go to bed can also help with absorbing some of the alcohol. Don't take Tylenol while you are still drunk because your body has difficulty processing Tylenol and alcohol at the same time which can cause liver problems.

If you still wake up with a hangover, drink water, eat bread products, eat fruit and take some tylenol and take a nap for a couple of hours.

Poor liver, after a pint of vodka the last thing you would want to do to it is feed it lard!

I find vitamin C to work wonders. If you know you are going to drink, take 500 mg of vitamin C. Before passing out, take another vitamin C. Upon waking up, take another vitamin C (preferably without getting out of bed yet). Within half an hour you should be fit for human society.

Why does this work? A hangover is mostly a headache caused by dehydration. The vitamin C helps to hydrate your brain, so the headache is gone. You still are dehydrated, though, so we move on to step B - breakfast.

Now in addition to being dehydrated, your liver is also really pissed off at you right now. Treat her nicely and she will treat you nicely. Fresh fruit with a high water content - apples, melon - will be great. Or if you like Greek / Turkish food, the ideal food seems to be tsatsiki / cacik: white yoghurt (gets your digestive tract back to normal) with fresh mint (calms your stomach), crushed garlic (reduces blood pressure) and grated strained cucumber (hydrates). Now you should be ready to hit the road... but just make sure you brush your teeth after that garlic.

If you are still tired, go for the coffee - but just remember, caffeine dehydrates so you will need to drink one tall glass of water between each cup.

Bottom's up.

What you crave is a lot of something greasy like McDonalds but it depends how hung over you are. If you stomach is upset and you have a headache, take two tylenol and have turkey sandwich or somthing like that. Its filling but its good. Fast food might make you feel better after you eat it but once it settles you might be throwing it up.

When I have a hangover I usually go straight to McDonalds for breakfast and order a Sausage and Egg McMuffin Combo with a Hash Brown and a Coffee. I'm telling you, it works! It tops off a good night out.

It's probably not good FOR you-but what I crave after a night like that is greasy fast food, like McD's Egg McMuffin or Krystal(anything from there)!

A double bacon cheeseburger. I'm not kidding. Eat that with a beer and you'll be fine.

I agree with the greasy angle. Bacon, eggs and hashbrowns, coffee and orange juice.
