They can b if u use too much glue it pulls your hair out, if u get your weave sewed in it doesnt pull your hair out and it lasts longer but it takes forever to put in and take out?

Personally, I can't say much because I wear my natural hair in cornrows, and it's down to a little past my shoulders.
I've never had a perm, or relaxer so I don't have personal experience , but I do know that:
The glue in, sew in ones are .
And the extensions are also if they are too tight .

Yes, no matter what kind, they add stress onto the hair and weaken it.

no, as long as you dont use paste to put them on. Otherwise it doesnt.
