I'm new to camcorders. Which is the best format and type/style/brand of camcorder to buy that's UNDER $400???
Doesn't have to be too high tech. Just for home use.

I just recently did some research myself and asked friends on what
format to buy. I ended up getting the miniDV format from Sony (model hdr-hc5 for $1050 at Bestbuy). I know you want something
cheaper. I just bought the camcorder yesterday and haven't try
it out yet.

I dont know a much camcorders but there's a 100$ camcorder i bought which is very good i think its called the DxG-305v
