If you're 13 years old you are still growing. Weight loss is irrelevant for you and it will only mess up your growth. Wait a few more years before trying to drop 20 pounds! That is a lot of weight. If you are really concerned, then talk to your mom, school nurse, or doctor. Don't listen to your friends or TV and certainly don't look at Hollywood. Who told you you need to lose 20 pounds? Do you even realize how drastic 20 pounds is?
If you want to be healthy, forget weight, you're only 13. Instead, just concentrate on exercising a reasonable amount daily (like 30 minutes of running or biking or a school sport). Eat good foods--vegetables, lean protein like meat eggs and beans, avoid fast food, candy, white bread. The important thing at your age is to feel good and grow and do well in school. A healthy diet will help you do those things. Weight loss doesn't do anything.
Please, remember that you're just a kid. You have your whole adult life to diet. Losing 20 pounds when you're just going through puberty is NOT going to help you become a healthy adult.

It depends on how tall you are. If you are 8 feet tall, 120 is prolly a bit light. If you are, on the other hand, 1'5'', the 120 is morbidly obese.
If you're 5' - 5'5'' or so, you're probably fine. If you want to lose weight, don't eat crap and excersize. That really does work.

first of all 120 isnt that bad and 100 pounds is to skiny for an 13 hon try to take your diet slowly and dont crash diet either its dangrous eat lots of frouit and vegies and drink lots of water ok.

It depends on your height, not your age. At your age, you don't really need any real diet plan. Don't eat crap and exercise more and you'll start to lose weight.

You have to give us your height for us to know if it is overweight. If you're like 5'5" or so, it's probably a little overweight. Nothing to worry about though.
