I just entered the Army and I do not want out. I want to stay in for as long as possible. I know they would give me a medical discharge so I really don't want to tell them.

Anyways I feel fine and can definately do my duties.

What do you think,

would I get in trouble?
Tell now, or tell later?

Just go to sick call with your symptoms and let the medical system run its course. (You DON'T have to say that you already know it's MS.)

Just make sure that the military doctors will order the necessary tests, and if they don't, you need to complain and keep going back with symptoms until they do. Once they've figured out what's wrong with you, they'll treat you.

Hiding this disease is not a good answer, because it will get progressively worse, and there is no need for you to suffer when you can get help.

If you have no symptoms now, well... it's a toss-up. I guess the question is really whether treatment now would slow down the progression of the illness. You can probably research that question online.

You won't get in trouble with the Army if you're already in, and you find out you've got it. But you do have to make it through IET. They have no obligation to you if you don't finish Basic and AIT.

God bless, be strong.

If you know you have it and do not get it diagnosed by an Army doctor, you can potentially forfeit any medical benefits, even if you receive a medical discharge.
Do the right thing, and see an Army doctor to get the help you need.

If they find out that you have been deceptive with them, they will definitely discharge you. Tell them , because MS does not get better, when you go on sick call, and they run tests on you, you will be found out.
