The mother may instinctively know if babies are not thriving and will not spend energy caring for them; she will most likely abandon them.

A veterinary examination is strongly recommended! Prompt diagnosis and treatment of illness will give the baby the best chance at survival.

Good luck!

i'm not sure if you mean the mom or baby has diarrhea. either way, contact an er vet. could be an allergy or there could be something physically wrong with the baby. that could be why the mom rejected it. good luck

If you haven't already done so please contact your VET ASAP. There could be something wrong with the pup and that is why the mother is rejecting it. Also cow's milk may not be the best substitute. Please call your vet and get Mom and puppy in to be checked out.

I hope the pup is ok.

You need to get the puppy to a vet NOW! Also, the mother should be checked out just in case.

I would call your vet ASAP and ask for his or her recommendation after describing the situation and what you have already done. Anything you do wrong at this point (though unintentionally) could kill the baby.
