I know the Home Premium version donesn't have it, but does the Business version have Microsoft Office? I was just wondering because if it does, I would just rather get the Windows Vista Business instead of having to buy Office seperately.

No.

Windows Vista is an operating system, that replaces Windows XP.

Microsoft Office 2007 is a suite of programs that will run on either Windows Vista OR Windows XP.

They are two totally separate and distinct products, that HAPPENED to be released at the same time.

I would STRONGLY suggest checking out the new Office 2007. It is the most dramatically changed layout in Office product history. Up top is what they now call a "ribbon." All the commands are different and I'm finding it cumbersome and annoying to use. And I've had it long enough to be past the learning curve factor. I'm seriously thinking of downgrading to Office XP.

And personally I couldn't survive without running some version of MS Office on my puter. Just not sure I like the "improvements" lol. And as you've been told you can choose to add whatever Office you want. I wasn't going to answer as I haven't poked around Vista that much, as I'm a firm believer in never upgrading any MS OS until its 2nd release as the first one is ALWAYS buggy and problematic. But thought I'd point out the MAJOR changes in the new Office. There is a massive site with screenshots at MS....I'd check that out if you can't find a loaded one to play with firsthand.

So you want word, powerpoint etc.?

Just use openoffice at openoffice.org

It's the same thing but free. I have it and it works great..you can even save documents with passwords. Dont waste money..get it for free.

Atleast take a trip to the site,,,have a great day

No it most likely has a 60 day trial version which you need to buy after 60 days (becomes unsuable after that period)
