We (my 2 year old and I) like (most are from Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney in the mornings):
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Jojo's Circus
The Doodlebops
Sesame Street
Little Einsteins
Higglytown Heroes
And no, we don't watch ALL of these shows every day, though we might watch one or two in a day. She also really likes movies, which are special (because of length, and because we limit tv time), and has seen the following SEVERAL times as her "movie" pick for the day:
Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Monsters Inc., The Fifth Element (don't ask - she likes the Diva), the Baby/Little Einstein movies, Narnia, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Finding Nemo, Brother Bear I/II, The Incredibles, Mary Poppins, What Women Want, and Queen of the Damned (yes, the vampire movie, don't know why she likes it though)
We don't limit her too much on what she can watch, as long as she can handle it. Sometimes she watches CSI with us, but if she's bothered by it, we turn it off. She just sat through Bridge to Terabithea with us last night, and aside from being upset at the fighting scene in the middle (though we don't know if she was more upset for the "bad" guys or for the Terabitheans!), she was ok with it.
Amazingly, we also have plenty of time for dancing/singing to music, reading (same books over and over), napping, snacking, pretending, playing, coloring, etc. (don't ask me where I find it though! it's some top-secret mommy time-finding stuff! *grin*)

Anything that helps promote learning. Mickey mouse club house, bear in the big blue house, both on Disney. Sesame street is another good one. These shows help teach colors, counting, and sharing. Also the Elmo's world videos are really good too. I would stear clear of shows like Ren and Stimpy, sponge bob,. or the ones about fighting like Pokemon. If they still show that. These shows lack educational value. Last time I saw sponge bob he was making gas nosies and laughing not something you want a preschooler to learn.

My kids(ages 5-4-3) all love Dora, Diego, The Backyardigans, wonder Pets, Thomas and friends, and the Wiggles!
They are all good, safe and educational.
I limit my kids tv time but I dont think that there is anything wrong for the kids to watch some!
God Bless!

My son LOVES Playhouse Disney. He is 2 1/2 and he already can recognize almost all the letters of the alphabet and can recognize numbers up to 9, and knows all the primary colors and a few non-primary ones. The Wiggles, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doodlebops are his favorites. I like Disney channel because they do not have outside advertisements or news so kids are not being exposed to commercialism, or graphic footage of the war.

I let my kids watch the traditional Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. But they also watch Great Big World-it teaches them about different animals. My five year old can explain in detail metamorphasis( I can't even spell it, LOL) from watching that show. Dora is great to teach them Spanish and memorization. Diego for learning about animals.
I don't let them watch Spongbob Squarepants, it teaches them NOTHING. Big Bird whines a lot, but I tolerate because it teaches them their ABCs and numbers.

I like Dora the explorer, blues clues, and wonder pets. my oldest loves bob the builder, which is acceptable to watch. I refuse to let my kids watch sponge bob square-pants- well a couple of times in desperation (when nothing else was on TV and i needed silence)

This is a good one. I found that there are alot of good kids shows on Treehouse station. Also if you are interested in buying dvd's as we did, I found the best ones are Baby Einstein, they have all different kinds from teaching your child to talk, learn and listen. They also have a website you should check it out, it's in their best interest.
