i straighten it, but everyone on this site are puuting me off! i use heat protection, and i wash it with shampoo and conditioner, then straighten it once/twice a week. whenever i straighten it i use spray. Is that so bad? And if it is then, what can i do to make it ringlety, because my hair is so thick, and non-curly it's just frizzy and wavy and big! Please advise me!

Straightening will eventually damage your hair - it did mine. Get the book Curly Girl - it's available on Amazon. Wash only using conditioner - not shampoo - it won't be greasy and it will help the ringlet curls develop. Don't brush it. Use a wide toothed comb when it is wet and put a leave in conditioner and gel in and let it air dry. The key to ringlet curls is a good cut and getting moisture in the hair shaft.

I have the same problem that you do. Salons have stuff that you can put in your hair to help prevent frizz. Sometime you might want to try to go with your curl though. Go for a new look. Curl it or Scrunch it. Scrunching only takes about 5 seconds (literally) if you use scrunch mousse and put it in with your hands. Also try thinning it or putting layers in it.

You may need to have it thinned. I would enter a salon and talk to a professional about a hair makeover and what they think would accent your natural beauty.

Try TIGI's curls rock. It will help your hair curl and not be frizzy.
