See she cleans the bottom of her expensive sneakers everytime she wears them to keep them clean. She takes extra long in the shower. One time she showered twice. My pack of disposable gloves seems to have been disapearing latey. And she asks a lot of questions about gems and flesh-eating bacteria. Sometimes she scrubs her arm so hard that it bleeds.

Sounds like the mysophobia could be part of obsessive-compulsive disorder... have her tell her doctor, especially if it starts interfering with her daily life.

i was skeptical until i read the part that she scrubs until she bleeds! up until that part i thought you probably have reason to be worried, but she could just be a really clean person. my friend takes tons of showers too. but if she's scrubbing her hands until they bleed, that's really bad. you should talk to your parents about it.
