my lochia stopped and i had sex, how soon do you begin ovulating after delivery?

You can ovulate within the first week after delivery. So yes, you could very well be pregnant.

YES! It happen more often that not. If you are having a cycle you are ovulating. You can ovulate after giving birth as early as 6 weeks. I know that breastfeeding can play a role in having a cycle, but from what I understand you may still be ovulating and are able to get pregnant. Have you considered having an IUD?

At 1 month after, your body isn't healed enough for sex, but if you do it you can get pregnant. In fact it's easier to get pregnant again right after you give birth. My husband's 2 cousins are 10 months apart.

Oh yeah, you're more likely to get pregnant right after you give birth (with in that first few months) than normal. So stick with condoms unless you want two infants to take care of.

I'm a mother of four, my doctor told me as yours should have you are more capable of becoming pregnant , shortly after birth. They should have also told you not to have sex for 6 weeks after giving birth.. Good luck

I don't think so, you bleed for 6 weeks. You're not supposed to have sex for a month. I'd get on the pill right away so that getting pregnant doesnt happen again!

It is wise to wait at least 6 weeks until after you have delvered to have sex. If you have begun having sex you should get on birthday control right away.

oh yes, most definitely. Very common. Remember birth control, condoms if you are nursing.
