OUCHLESS PONYTAIL HOLDERS, THEY HAVE NO METAL CLIP ON THEM SO THEY DON'T PULL YOUR HAIR

I use simple ponytail holders. You can find some cute ones at target with stones etc. I have to say something though. About 10 years ago I splurged when I was shopping at Burberry in New York and I bought a Burberry Scrunchie to match my bag. I wore it for a long time. I loved it. But, well they are simply out of style. I do not always follow trends but this is one that I am. Have you ever seen the scrunchie episode on Sex in the city? Well ever since that episode I have never worn a scrunchie again.
Oh here is a great web-site defending the scrunchie though. I don't want to offend anyone.

Anymore, it's just the plain elastic bands. I still have a scrunchy I wear around the house though.

plain elastic bands are best. They're cheap and cheerful, and come in loads of different colours. I always have one or two on my wrist incase. Also, if you fancy a change, they're thin and so perfect for when you're get a thin section of hair and wrap it round the band, and hold it in place with a clip

I didn't think scrunchies still existed. I wear the damage free bands, usually brown bc that is my hair color

I'd have to say plain elastic bands. They come in tons of colors and I carry them on my wrists all day until I decide that I want one

Scrunchies made of satin or velvet because they are more gentle on your hair and cause less breakage.
