No, James Cameron did not claim he found Jesus' bones. He is discussing the fact that 27 years ago, a tomb was unearthed which had 10 caskets, and 7 years ago, the names inscribed on the tombs were deciphered: Jesua, son of Joseph, Mary, Mary, Mathew, Jofa and Judah, son of Jesua. He and his producer claim that through DNA testing and biblical studies, that these coffins belong to Jesus and his family. He's holding a press conference tomorrow.

Jesus and 9 others including his mom and pop and his son, the grandson of God.
The caskets were found over 30 years ago and have been being studied by the Jewish archaeologists. This movie is being made with help from educational TV channels. It might just be a sequel to The DaVinci Code but it might have some truth in it.

If professor Amos Kloner is involved then it is a serious dig with serious research.

The discovery channel link is the best. I will be watching.

While this "claim" makes good fertillizer for yet another Hollyweird movie, it's not true. If it were true, His bones would have been found long ago. They can't even agree on where His body was laid, what makes anyone think that a movie producer would be able to identify 2,000 year old bones as belonging to Jesus? And how could it be proven? They didn't have CSI back then. There's nothing to compare, to make sure of a DNA match. This is all STOOOPID! Mr. Cameron needs to stick with old relics like the Titanic, before it completely disappears into a puddle of rust. <*)))><

He does make a good movie, however I have not heard anything about this at all. I think i would be very skeptical--was there a grave that said Jesus Christ on it or just a pile of bones that speculate that it is him.. I am not buying it. I beleive there was a person named Jesus , and I believe that he is buried somewhere. Some will argue that his body returned to heaven, his spirit did, not his physical self, so yes he is out there somewhere. ( Also , during that time in that region of the world, those names were very popular, could be any family tomb)

A documentary presenting the evidence, "The Lost Tomb of Jesus," will premiere on the Discovery Channel on March 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Five of the 10 discovered boxes in the Talpiot tomb were inscribed with names believed to be associated with key figures in the New Testament: Jesus, Mary, Matthew, Joseph and Mary Magdalene. A sixth inscription, written in Aramaic, translates to "Judah Son of Jesus."

If James Cameron claimed to find the bones of Jesus, then he is a rank lier. Jesus Christ was placed in a tomb and then three days later, he arose. Anybody who claims that they found His remains, are not up on the truth.

I think it's going to be interesting to see how they prove this, considering there isn't any historical proof that Jesus ever existed.
Here's a link if anyone's interested:

btw, it says they found his remains, his mother Mary's remains, and the remains of Mary Magdalene. If they CAN prove this, I guess it means he didn't resurrect after all.

Let me guess, there was a big sign on the box saying "Jesus Christ - you know, of that whole Christianity thing."

James Cameron also claims to make good movies. I didn't believe him then and I don't now.
