Here's some ideas: popcorn (unless it's covered in butter it's actually very healthy, you'd be surprised), baby carrots, sugar snap peas, grape tomatos, other small veggies, celery, mini-salads (made out of sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, seasoned with a teeny bit of salt and fatfree ranch), lowfat cottage cheese with or without diced fruit, Dannon Light n Fit yogurt.
I think your best bet is to avoid snacking. Eat nice big filling meals with plenty of veggies and protein. Have what you like in reasonable portions. The healthiest foreign cultures avoid eating between meals. Oftentimes, I find that snacking is something I do out of boredom, not hunger or need. Drink lots of water and tea and eat good meals and you won't need to snack.

Protein is good for a snack if it is very lean, because it gives you a feeling of fullness and keeps your blood sugar steady which curbs hunger cravings. Sugary snacks alone like fruit can create hunger cravings by causing your blood sugar level to first spike and then crash, leaving you tired, cranky and hungry. Raw vegetables don't create sugar spikes but are not very satisfying by themselves.
Things I've used:
No-fat roast chicken or turkey breast from the deli
No-fat roast beef or ham from the deli
Skim-milk cheese (if you can stand it, I think it's yuck)
No-fat yogurt
Remember to add your snack's calories to your total, but because it's good lean protein it isn't bad for you, and doesn't really have too many calories.

Rice cakes, Rivita's are good.
Wholemeal foods - check the nutrtition label and go for the ones low in fat and calories. These will keep the hunger pangs away since they are slow releasing energy foods and so stabalise blood sugar levels. Thus, they have a low GI, which is good when you're dieting.

Try vegetables instead of fruits. Veggies have less sugars than fruits. Do'nt totally eliminate sugars from your diet though because your body will think somethings wrong and start producing LOTS of sugars and you'll start to gain weight. Just do'nt intake too much sugars. You could also try the fruit bars, they are healthy and don't taste too bad either.

celery cucumber and anything with lentils is supposed to be really good for you. Try watching you are what you eat or get the book. You dont have to have everything in the book. However it should give you a good idea of what goodness is in each type of fodd you are snacking on.

I eat a lot of grapefruit, carrots (with low fat or fat free ranch) and celery with a little peanut butter for protein. Milk is actually very good for you when dieting, just stick to skim. Pretty much any fruit or veggie can be eaten in large amounts.

I can't leave crisps alone but I've been buying weight watchers snacks cos they are only 1 point a bag and they are quite good flavoured. I also love fresh Pineapple cut into chunks and melon.

Try some raw veggies. They have those 100 calorie snack packs now. Those are good unless you are like me and can't stay out of the box. :)

almost any fruit or veggies...apples, oranges, carrot or celery sticks, etc...but try to stay away from starchy veggies like potatoes.
just about any raw veggie or fruit will be very low calories. highly processed food s, fried foods and nuts are all bad for diets.
