I went to the National Young Leader's Conference recently, and I thought it was on of the best things I've ever done. Has anyone on here ever went, and if so, what are your thoughts on it?

I have not attended the conference, but have heard some great things about it. However, I have also heard bad things about the selection process. Namely that they send you an acceptance letter and with that a Parents Information Booklet, and the first time there is any mention of the tuition due for the program is at the bottom of the 2nd page of the parents booklet. It then only gives you six weeks to come up with the tuition and fees. This is highly unfair to all but the most well to-do families, because most people don't just have $2,400 lying around.
