I had a doll. I also had a small collection of My Little Pony's growing up in the 80's. I had two younger sisters, I guess I just wanted what they wanted. I grew out of it once I started going to school. I don't see anything wrong with developing an imagination as a child. These dolls and toys were like imaginary friends, and we had a lot of fun adventures. It's healthy.

Are you afraid that he's homosexual? I don't think there's nothing wrong with a child playing with a doll - do you think that because he played with dolls that he's secretly gay? I don't think that just because he played with dolls as a child that he's odd.

That was as a child. There are psychologists who say playing with dolls for boys, helps them be more nurturing as an adult. What matters now is how manly he is now.

Now, when you say "dolls", do you mean like Barbies?

A member of my extended family did that. He liked to dress Barbies. As a teenager and as a young adult, you could say he was drawn to the theatrical. He has alway had plenty of female friends but IMO his sexuality still is somewhat ambiguous.

Why not? To me that shows a tender side to the man-that is good. Also shows care as a perspective dad for children. Take care.

If this is the only thing you have that makes you suspect that he's gay- it really doesn't say a whole lot. He may have just liked babies and younger children- they may have been fun to him because of what he relates them to.
