Bring the rifle up to the target as you pull in to the aim breath in and hold shoot then breath out, do it quickly don't piss about holding your breath...Just remember...Up,Aim,Hold,Shoot and down. Easy...
Always fix to a single point on the target it doesn't have to be the middle try below chin, eye or nose where you hit doesn't matter it's the group that counts, I found that the middle is a dodgy area as it is difficult to fix on a single point....

Kneeling: hold the weapon high up, sit on your back foot (it's uncomfortable but more stable), b-r-e-a-t-h-e
Standing: rest the weapon between shots as if you hold it in the aim over a while you'll start shaking everywhere, again hold it high and you can also try resting your elbow on your webbing (might need to tighten the straps first though!)
Good tip for both positions is to aim at one of the bottom corners of the aiming patch instead of the centre as you'll get a much tighter group this way. Make sure you let someone know if you're doing this when zeroing though!

I don't know about the SA80 specifically, as I'm left-handed (I was a marksman with the SLR), but I always breathed out and fired between heartbeats, especially at anything longer than battle sights. And keep both eyes open, it's less stressful. Dunno if that helps, you probably know all that already
