I have a Martine Cup on my right upper arm. The height is 3 inches and the weight is 2 1/2 inches. The outline is black. He SHADED a light/darkesh blue color to the cup and white to look like the cup has sparkles. He add a little color to the olive,a darkish green color. He add 5 black stars around it and about 30 very very small dots. SO NOW the height is about 3 1/2 inches tall and the weight is still like about 2 1/2 inches long. BUT THOSE ARE JUST THE DETAILS. I GOT GOT THIS YESTERDAY AND I DONT LIKE IT. MY REAL QUESTION IS THAT CAN I GET A TATTOO TO OVER UP THIS ONE?? AND I JUST WANT AN ALL BLACK TATTOO NO COLOR AT ALL. WOULD THE COLORS OF MY FIRST TATTOO COVER UP WITH BLACK. AND THE WHOLE TATTOO IS OUTLINE WITH BLACK AND JUST SHADE IN WITH THOSE COLORS I TOLD YOU. OR SHOULD I JUST GET THIS TATTOO REMOVED?? BUT I STILL WANT AN TATTOO ON MY ARM. IF I GET IT REMOVED CAN I STILL GET AN TATTOO ON THE SAME SPOT? AND IF I DO GET IT COVER UP. I MIGHT WANT AN CROSS OR A GANGSTA TEDDY BEAR

I've covered up tattoos before... black will go over it perfectly, but you should work with someone who's experienced with coverups. I've had to go in two sittings with some because it made the color (purple in this case) a darker purple with black spots/streaks.
Later on, the black will be easiest to remove with a laser if you don't like whatever design. (A panther's classic for large coverups.)

Yes, you can! I am having a whole arm covered up - a full sleeve. Stage one is to cover up all the tattoo with pelican ink; stage two, and the arm is left for a bit to settle; stage three, and the white ink is put over the black ink.
Imagine the mirror image of a black tattoo going onto white skin. It IS possible because I have seen it done. The white ink will take several sessions but it is completely plausible.
Have a look at: 'Lucky Diamond Rich's' website and you will see the white on black.
If you have a tattoo lasered you may have problems getting new ink to settle in the removal area. ''May''.

OK this should be something you should have seen and talk to an experienced artist about but here's what i have to say.... due to the dark colors the only feasible way to cover up would be black...solid black you would NOT be able to have a design. tattoos are not magic they cant just cover something already dark with a light color/ delicate design.. and if you found someone to cover it if probably would be what you would want and that would make laser removal even harder... dark colors stay the longest and require the most treatments to remove..

do you really not like it that much? well at least let it heal first, go to a tattoo place tell them exactly what you want and mention you just want all black and see whether or not they can do it for you. If you decide to get it removed, it'll still show a little bit, its not going to dissapear completely though. After you get it removed, you should get something over it to cover it because it'll still show slightly. Good luck!!

Yes you still can cover it up. However if you get it covered up and then decide to get it all taken off all the ink will not completely dissappear!!

I think you should cover it with black. If you decide to take out the one you already have, I don't think you it will come out completely. You should cover it completely with balck

If you have only had it one day and don't like it maybe your not cut out for tattoos? You have got to know what you want before you get it!
