There is research that suggests that red mulch, reflecting red light back to the underside of the leaves, increases fruit production and size. For the top of leaves, plain white light is best.

depends where the plants. outside. in sun, shade part sun, part shade, indoors, sunny window area, shady window area. do farmers using a white tarp to reflect the sun so the shade can provide more coolness and less heat?

yes it does some colored lights make the plants grow taller i think red is one of them
