no it is definitly not legal and even if it was i would not allow it, he is a child and she is now legally considered an adult. that is just wrong wether she is touching him in anyway or not. he is still a kid and he is still in school and that's what he needs to be focused on. please don't let their relationship go any further it could ruin him.

My goodness he is 12!! Be a parent how can you even think of asking such a lame question. A 12 year old should still be playing with his friends not dating a woman. I do not get parents these days why do we think our children have all the rights. A 12 year old is a child he/she is still completely dependent on parents. Heck at 12 in Ohio that is still young enough to go to day care after school or for the summer. Be a parent make some rules. Your 12 year old needs your protection and love and guidance. This how babies have babies. Do you want him to be a dad at 13? You know an 18 year old is wanting more than hand holding. I just can not believe you need to ask this question. How old are you? Be the parent he needs a parent not a friend be his friend when he grown.

No it is not legal. Tell her to find someone else and stay away from your child or you'll have her arrested. There is only one reason an 18 yr old would want a 12 yr old for a boyfriend and that is to use him sexually. And I don't care if he thinks he's a big enough boy to have sex or not, he is too immature and could still get someone pregnant. But regardless of that, it is rape of a child. I can't believe you couldn't figure this one out by yourself. Quit trying to be a friend to your son and STEP UP and start being a parent.

No it is not illegal for your 12 year old son to "date" an 18 year old woman. How ever It is illegal for them to have sex. If you are truly concerned find out the age of consent where you live. As in Canada 18 is considered an adult so there for you would be able to charge her with statutory rape here. But eather way that is just wrong.

I think you're the 12 yr old and you have a 18 yr old boyfriend, or want one, just grab your bratz and live life at the right pace. And stop lying on your questions, that's a very weird thing to do. If you don't have a real question to ask, just say it and ask it as a hypothetical question.

I think it is legal, however he is a minor and she is not, so if they took it to the next step, she could be charged with rape. I seriously hope it is not that serious, and am really sorry if i brought it up and it isnt. you are his parent, and if it gets too risky, or you thinks something is wrong, you should end it for his benefit because it is your child, your responsibility. Of course i dont know the situation, but it just doesnt seem right... i dont know how they could be too interested in each other giving their ages, and the difference between them. I think she is too old for him, because if you think of the differences between a 7th grader and a senior in high school... there are many.

no, absolutely not... some people want to just look at the boy and say "way to go! got you some early!" ... but it has the same consequences as a 12 yr old girl that has an 18 yr old boyfriend... would you find that acceptable at all?

No, in many states that can be considered molestation - the question I have is why do you allow your 12 yr. old to hang out with an 18 yr old?
