I love him, but he makes me so aggervated that I want to smack him. He is going out with all kinds of preps to make me mad.

Well if he's going out with other people to make you mad on purpose then he can't be a very decent person!?!?!
Does he love you back?
I'd say either forget about him or start going out with other people too. If he likes you it might bother him the same way it bothers you - give him a taste of his own medicine!
