There are many types of ear infections - mites, yeast, bacteria - to treat it correctly, you should take your dog to the vet, have them check out the ears, and get you the correct ear medications. It will probably not go away if you try to treat it yourself with over the counter products.
Also, try to figure out why your dog got an ear infection in the first place, and try to prevent them from now on. For instance, does your dog go swimming, or did he get a bath and get water in his ears? That can lead to an infection. Food and enviornmental allergies can cause recurrent ear infections as well - talk to your vet about this possibility.

ear infection?? vet will give you antibiotics that will cost about $10,,, also my prescribe antibiotic ointment ,, also inexpensive,,,,, in any case,,, you apply the ear medicine exactly the same whether cheap or expensive ( either orally or into the ear canal) ear aches are very uncomfortable... please see a vet... and get this cured soon...

Go to a pet store and they will have different ear medications that you can give your dog yourself!

I agree with Mochalatt..., your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian and diagnosed for whatever ear problem he/she may have. Please see your veterinarian.
